PS5 Repair done properly, the first time.
HDMI port repair is the single most common PS5 fix we perform in Delaware County: the cable gets bumped, the port cracks internally and you get no signal, flicker or a black screen. We replace the port at board level with micro-soldering rather than suggesting a new console, then verify output on a 4K display before it leaves the shop.
Beyond HDMI, most PS5 faults we repair come from heat and wear. Dust-packed heatsinks and dried thermal compound cause shutdowns, loud fans and performance drops, so we deep clean the console, service the cooling system and renew the thermal interface — including the liquid metal on the original PS5, which we inspect and re-apply correctly rather than leaving it dry. If the console will not power on at all, we diagnose the power supply and board at component level before quoting.
Disc drive problems are also common, from discs that will not read or eject to drives that stop working after board repair — the drive and motherboard are paired, and we handle that pairing so both disc and digital games keep working. We repair or replace DualSense and DualSense Edge controllers with stick drift, trigger failures, USB-C charging faults and worn batteries, and we recover liquid-damaged consoles with ultrasonic board cleaning.
